Terms of Service
1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DOLOSGO — the website at dolosgo.com, its pages and apps, and every feature on it, including the Marketplace, WARES, NAFS, Trade Identity, Brand Accelerator, Demeter, Hauler, Pools and Deal Rooms, Messenger, market and price intelligence, and customer support (together, the "Service"). "DOLOSGO", "we" and "us" mean the operator of the Service, Sedona General Trading LLC (Dubai, United Arab Emirates), which operates DOLOSGO. "You" means the person using the Service and, where you act for a business, that business.
By creating an account, ticking the agreement box during sign-up, or using the Service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Who can use DOLOSGO
DOLOSGO is a business-to-business platform for the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) trade. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. If you register for a company, you confirm that you are authorised to act for it and to accept these Terms on its behalf.
3. Your account and security
- Give accurate, current information and keep it up to date. One person or business should not hold several accounts to get around limits, rewards or a suspension.
- Keep your password and your authenticator app private. You are responsible for activity on your account. If you turn on the authenticator app, DOLOSGO asks for its code before you can use DGO or change key account settings.
- Tell us straight away at support@dolosgo.com if you think someone else has used your account.
- Your public User ID (@handle) and Trade Identity are visible to other users according to your privacy settings.
4. Business verification (KYC)
Some features, rewards and trading actions require your business to be verified ("KYC"). You agree to submit genuine documents and information. We may approve, decline, or later withdraw a verification, and we may ask for more information at any time. A verified badge means that we reviewed the documents submitted; it is not a guarantee of a trader's reliability, solvency or the quality of their goods.
5. How trading works: direct P2P, no escrow
- DOLOSGO is a venue, not a party to your trade. Buyers and sellers deal with each other directly. We do not buy, sell, own, inspect, store or deliver the goods listed, and we are not an agent for either side.
- No escrow. DOLOSGO does not hold, receive or transfer money for trades. Payments go directly from buyer to seller by the method you agree between you (for example bank transfer). Any refund is between the parties.
- Order requests, acceptances, deal chats, proofs of payment, "Deal Done" confirmations and ratings are tools to help you trade; they do not change who is responsible for the trade.
- You are responsible for your own due diligence and for complying with all laws that apply to your trade, including import and export rules, customs and excise, product registration and labelling, trade licences, sanctions, and tax (including VAT).
- Only list goods you have the right to sell, describe them honestly (brand, quantity, packing, origin, expiry, location, price), and keep listings up to date.
- Forward Board. A forward lot is an offer or request for goods to be delivered in a future month. Post a lot only if you genuinely intend and are able to deliver or buy on those terms. When a lot owner accepts a response, the two businesses have agreed the quantity and price shown; payment, delivery date, documents, deposits and what happens if either side cannot perform are agreed directly between them in the deal chat. DOLOSGO does not guarantee that a forward deal will be performed, is not a party to it, and does not offer derivatives, futures or options. Accepted forward prices may be used, combined with others, in our market intelligence.
6. DGO (Dolosgo Credits), prices and rewards
- Many actions on DOLOSGO use DGO (Dolosgo Credits) — prepaid platform credit (for example posting a listing, sending an order request, accepting an order, connecting on WARES, starting or extending a conversation, posting to NAFS). The DGO price of every action is listed in the DGO Charges Map in your account and shown before you confirm. Prices may change over time; prices for past actions do not change. The reference value is 1 DGO = AED 2.
- DGO is not money, not cryptocurrency, not a deposit, not a payment instrument and not an investment. It has no cash value, earns no interest, cannot be withdrawn, cashed out or transferred to another user, and can only be used on DOLOSGO.
- DGO is bought by card through Stripe in the packs shown in your account (currently in US dollars). The price shown before you pay is the price charged; your bank may apply its own currency conversion. DGO is added once Stripe confirms the payment.
- Purchased DGO is not refundable, except where required by law or where we charged you in error. If a card payment is refunded or charged back, the DGO from that payment is removed; if some of it was already used, that amount is owed, DGO spending is paused, and your next recharge clears the owed amount first. If an action fails after DGO was taken, the DGO is returned.
- Promotional and reward DGO — the KYC welcome credit (a one-time campaign until 31 December 2026), the monthly credit for verified businesses (from 1 January 2027), trade milestone rewards and referral rewards — are given at our discretion and may have conditions. Monthly credit is used first and is replaced each month: unused monthly DGO does not carry forward. Purchased and reward DGO do not reset. Trade rewards count only trades both sides confirm as done, that are not cancelled or disputed and that pass fraud checks. DGO obtained by fake accounts, self-dealing, duplicate verification or other abuse may be removed.
- Some reservations (for example an order request) hold DGO and only charge it if the other side accepts in time; otherwise it is released.
7. Market data and price intelligence
Prices, ranges, charts, forecasts, estimates (including landed-cost and CNF estimates), rates and other market information on DOLOSGO come from our trade-intelligence network, user posts and automated analysis. They are indicative only — not live exchange quotes, offers or professional (financial, legal, tax or customs) advice — and may be incomplete, delayed or wrong. Always confirm prices and terms directly with your counterparty before you commit.
Brand and product names shown on DOLOSGO belong to their owners. DOLOSGO is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a distributor of any brand unless we say so.
8. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post — listings, offers, photos, videos, NAFS posts, profile and Trade Identity details, messages and documents ("Your Content"). You give DOLOSGO a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display, adapt (for example resize or format) and share Your Content as needed to run, promote and improve the Service, for as long as it is on the Service and for a reasonable time after for backups and legal records.
You confirm you have the rights to Your Content and that it is accurate. We may remove any content that breaks these Terms or the law.
9. Messenger, support and AI features
- Conversations may have a paid time window (shown before you pay). Keep business communication respectful; you can block or report other users.
- Customer support may first be answered by an AI assistant, which can make mistakes; you can ask for a person at any time. Do not rely on AI answers for legal, tax or financial decisions.
- To keep the platform safe we may review messages, documents and activity linked to a report, a dispute, suspected fraud or a legal request.
10. Things you must not do
- Post false, misleading or counterfeit listings, or goods that are illegal, stolen, expired where sale is not allowed, or restricted without the needed licences.
- Scam, defraud, harass, threaten or spam other users, or collect their data for purposes other than the trade you are discussing.
- Claim a payment that was not made, or press "Transferred" or "Deal Done" when it is not true.
- Get around fees, limits, verification or security (including creating multiple accounts, abusing rewards or referrals).
- Scrape, copy or resell DOLOSGO data, reverse-engineer the Service, probe it for weaknesses, or disrupt it.
- Upload malware or content that infringes others' intellectual property or privacy.
11. Reports, disputes and enforcement
You can report a user, a listing or a deal from the Service. We may review reports and evidence, but we are not a court and do not decide or pay out on commercial disputes between traders; our role is limited to the platform (for example warnings, removing content, limiting features, adjusting ratings, or suspending accounts). We may suspend or close an account, remove content, or withhold promotional DGO where we reasonably believe these Terms or the law were broken, or to protect users or DOLOSGO. Where appropriate we will tell you why and how to respond.
12. Availability and changes to the Service
We work to keep DOLOSGO available and secure, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". Features may change, be paused or be withdrawn, and the Service may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control.
13. Liability
- To the extent the law allows, DOLOSGO is not liable for: the acts, omissions, goods, payments or statements of other users; losses from trades you make; reliance on market data or AI answers; or indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, business or data.
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid DOLOSGO for DGO in the 12 months before the claim.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud.
You agree to compensate DOLOSGO for losses and costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your trades with other users, to the extent the law allows.
14. Closing your account
You can stop using DOLOSGO at any time and ask us to close your account by writing to support@dolosgo.com. Unused DGO is lost when an account is closed, except where the law requires otherwise. Parts of these Terms that by their nature should continue (for example liability, content licence for records, and dispute terms) survive closure.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will show the new date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the Service or by email before they take effect. If you keep using DOLOSGO after the change takes effect, the updated Terms apply.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute about these Terms or the Service, unless the law of your country gives you a mandatory right to bring a claim elsewhere.
